This group is putting together a list detailing the key players at Goldman Sachs and their ties to Washington.
When Goldman Sachs announced second-quarter profits of $2.72 billion dollars after taking $10 billion in TARP money from the federal government, they certainly raised some awkward questions. For example: when is the treasury going to get it's money back? How can Goldman Sachs announce year-end bonuses in a crippling recession? Why do so many Goldman Sachs executives hold positions of power in relation to the White House? LittleSis is undertaking an intensive research project to generate a database detailing the connections between key players at Goldman Sachs and big wigs in Washington. Our primary mission is to develop a comprehensive list of the revolving-door political appointments, profligate spending on lobbyists, and shady business deals behind the Goldman Sachs name.
