Jai Chabria is Senior Advisor to Ohio Governor John R. Kasich. Chabria serves as head of personnel for the State of Ohio and of gubernatorial appointments. While he works on a number of issues which are important to Ohio’s future, Chabria has a concentration on economic development and job creation. Additionally, he has taken the lead on formulating Ohio’s gaming policies in a rapidly changing environment. Previously, Chabria was an associate with Schottenstein Property Group, advising the company on asset acquisitions. Prior to that, he worked in the investment banking division of Lehman Brothers and later Barclays Capital. There he worked across all sectors including Technology, Industrial, Power, Financial Institutions, and Media. Chabria currently chairs the Ohio Governor's Human Trafficking Task Force and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio and on the Ohio Human Trafficking Commission. Chabria is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and lives in Powell, Ohio with his wife Tammy, daughter Arya, and son Veer.
