Deryck Charles Maughan

SIR DERYCK MAUGHAN (New York) joined KKR in 2005 and is the head of the Financial Services industry team within KKR’s Private Equity platform. Sir Deryck was Vice Chairman of Citigroup from 1998 to 2004, and Chairman and CEO of Salomon Brothers from 1992 to 1997. He was a member of H. M. Treasury from 1969 to 1979. He is a former Vice Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange. Sir Deryck is a Harkness Fellow and a graduate of King’s College, University of London and Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He serves on the boards of directors of BlackRock, GlaxoSmithKline and Thomson Reuters. Sir Deryck is actively involved in the community serving as a trustee on a number of non-profit organizations, including Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, NYU Medical Center, and the Japan Society.
