Roger Murry joined Parven Pomper Strategies as a Managing Director in July 2009. He joined PPS after serving as a trade and health care advisor for Representative Ellen Tauscher (D-CA), Chair of the New Democrat Coalition and a leader on pro-trade Democratic policy. Roger worked closely with New Democrat staff to lead pro-trade initiatives on the Trans-Pacific Partnership, Buy American, regulatory cooperation, and the Miscellaneous Tariff Bill. He also served as the Congresswoman’s point person for health care reform, patent reform, and biosimilar legislation. Prior to joining Representative Tauscher, Roger rose from Staff Assistant to Legislative Assistant for Congresswoman Grace Napolitano (D-CA). He advised the Congresswoman on trade and environment policy and served as her liaison to the Subcommittee on Water and Power, which oversees Western water and federal power transmission policy. Roger is originally from Los Angeles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and economics from Claremont McKenna College. He lives in Arlington and will soon be married.
