In 1981, John Taylor founded FX Concepts, Inc., a multi-faceted investment management company, which today manages $11.7 billion in assets. John is a graduate of Princeton University and has completed the course work and exams for a PhD in political science at the University of North Carolina. He began his career at Chemical Bank in 1969, entering the foreign exchange market in 1971 when the dollar began its float. Before starting FX Concepts, John was a Vice President at Citibank, where he was the head of the bank’s marketing, advisory services, and research for foreign exchange. John is also a founder and former Chairman of Franklin University, an international university in Lugano, Switzerland, and is a member of several charitable boards in New York City.
