Lynn Jenkins

US Representative for Kansas' 2nd district, Lynn Jenkins served in Congress from 2009 to 2019. She announced in January 2017 that she wouldn't seek reelection in 2018. Jenkins is a founder of Maggie's List, a PAC designed to increase the number of conservative women elected to federal public office. Born in Topeka, KS, June 10, 1963; A.A., Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS., 1985; B.S., Weber State University, Ogden, UT, 1985; accountant; member, Kansas state house of representatives, 1999-2001; member, Kansas state senate, 2001-2003; Kansas state treasurer, 2003-2008; elected as a Republican to the 111th and to the all succeeding Congresses until the 115th (January 3, 2009-2019).
