Soldiers of Odin Canada

Originally started by a white supremacist as an anti-immigrant group in Finland in 2015. It spread to Canada in 2016. The group focused on vigilante patrols and community/charity work. SoO has attended different anti-LGBTQ/anti-trans events, at times acting as security for anti-LGBTQ/anti-trans speakers. There have been multiple splits from the group, including a number of Alberta chapters that went on to form the Guardians of Alberta and Saskatchewan chapters that became Patriots of Unity. Canada SoO disassociated from Finland SoO in 2017; however, the Quebec chapters split from the Canadian chapters and kept their association with Finland.
