Frank Bisignano is the chairman and chief executive officer of First Data Corporation. He was appointed chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors on April 29, 2013, and chairman of the board on March 10, 2014. Since assuming the leadership of First Data, Bisignano has moved to rapidly pivot the 42-year-old company from traditional processing to being a product and technology solutions provider to merchants and financial institutions. In his first six months, Bisignano reconstituted nearly half of First Data's management committee with accomplished outsiders and launched an equity ownership plan that put stock in the hands of nearly all of First Data's employees. In addition, he unveiled a new tablet-based point-of-sale solution for small and mid-sized businesses, and engaged and/or acquired a handful of leading technology start-ups. Mr. Frank J. Bisignano has been the Chief Administrative Officer of JP Morgan Chase & Co., since December 5, 2005 and its Head of US Mortgage Business since February 11, 2011. Mr. Bisignano's responsibilities include overseeing Technology, Operations, Real Estate, and General Services. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Chase Home Lending at JP Morgan Chase. Mr. Bisignano serves as Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Citigroup / Solomon Smith Barney Corporate Investment Bank. He serves as Deputy Chief Operations and Technology Officer for Citigroup. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Global Transaction Services, Corporate and Investment Banking at Citigroup Inc. from 2002 to December 2005 and was responsible for the management of operations, technology and general services activities on a worldwide basis for the Corporate Investment Bank. Mr. Bisignano served as Chief Administrative Officer of Citigroup's Global Corporate and Investment Banking Group (GCIB), while also serving as Deputy Head of Operations and Technology for all of Citigroup from 2000 to 2003. He joined Smith Barney in 1994. He served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Consumer Lending Officer of First Fidelity Bancorporation, and also held the position of Senior Vice President at Shearson Lehman Brothers from 1986 to 1990. He serves as Vice Chairman and Director of The Options Clearing Corporation. Mr. Bisignano serves as a Director of the non-profit organizations NPowerNY, Alliance for Downtown New York, and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. He served as a Director at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation and Euroclear. Mr. Bisignano graduated from Newport University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance.
