Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President Jim Allen leads the development and deployment of the firm's Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Technical Analysis service offering in support of the intelligence community (IC). In addition, Mr. Allen directs several hundred staff members assigned to the firm’s U.S. security sector in central Maryland. Mr. Allen has almost 30 years of experience leading intelligence assignments in the U.S. and abroad. Currently, he advises U.S. and foreign intelligence organizations on intelligence and organizational issues; provides extensive domain expertise to Booz Allen’s systems developers with emphasis on analytic challenges and data management; and manages investments in the firm’s analytics capabilities. In 2004, Mr. Allen joined the firm after a distinguished career at the National Security Agency (NSA), including service as Deputy Director for analysis and production. His assignments included positions with other members of the IC. Prior to joining the NSA in 1987, he served in the U.S. Navy as a Cryptologic Officer and Surface Warfare Officer, with service afloat and ashore. Mr. Allen holds an M.A. degree in telecommunications from The George Washington University, an M.A. in national security studies from Georgetown University, and a B.A. with distinction in Russian from University of Virginia.
