Timothy A. Andrews is a Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President on the firm’s health team, which provides strategy and organization, analytics, technology, and cyber security services across the payor, provider, and life sciences market segments. Important focus areas include Health reform Health IT Health information exchange, IT transformation, and cyber security Health analytics Mr. Andrews gives primary attention to understanding and communicating the value and pitfalls of complex technologies in operating environments; designing and deploying innovative new technologies to enhance organizational performance and generate new opportunities; IT strategy and architecture in Health Information Technology (HIT) and Health Information Exchange (HIE); and large-scale information analytics. Mr. Andrews is involved in HIT and HIE strategies, architectures and implementations in existing institutions across provider, payor and life sciences organizations, and advise new organizations implementing novel business models and technologies. Mr. Andrews works with government entities, communities, and provider and payor organizations to implement integrated healthcare platforms aimed at improving safety while reducing cost. He also works with organizations implementing health reform, including Patient Centered Medical Homes and Accountable Care Organizations, and with life science organizations implementing secure networks and analytics for research and development. Mr. Andrews has an A.B. degree in engineering from Dartmouth College and an MSCS/EE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
