Kurt focuses on all aspects of the fund’s finances, assessing investment opportunities, developing post-closing business plans and assisting portfolio companies in developing their strategic and financial framework. Prior to joining True North, Kurt was the VP of Finance at First Solar, a solar module manufacturer and provider of comprehensive photovoltaic solutions where he oversaw the Company’s growth from a small privately held entity to a publicly traded enterprise. Prior to First Solar Kurt held various senior financial positions at KLA-Tencor as well financial positions at Intel. Kurt graduated with Distinction with a BS in Business from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
