Andrew is an experienced communications professional and lawyer. He currently leads Facebook's global internal communications team, which is focused on telling Facebook’s story in all its aspects to a rapidly-growing global employee population, and scaling the company culture. Before joining Facebook, Andrew spent several years working on policy issues in Washington, DC and San Francisco, where most recently he directed communications and advocacy efforts around the legal policy issues, judicial nominations and constitutional interpretation. He has a deep knowledge of nonprofits, advocacy and philanthropic organizations, having been an adjunct professor on the topic at Stanford University’s program in Washington, DC and having worked as a program director at a foundation. Andrew started his professional life working in the White House Office of Presidential Speechwriting in the Clinton Administration and later led communications teams in both the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives. He also brings a global business perspective, having built Facebook’s global internal communications infrastructure in its three main international regions and having worked across multiple industries.
