Brian Bond

Brian Bond was one of the local D.C. figures profiled in the Washington Blade’s Pride issue telling his coming out story. According to the White House’s biography of Bond, he served as the National Constituency Director for the Obama for America Campaign in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to that, he served as the Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee’s Gay and Lesbian Leadership Council, and was at one time the Executive Director of the Missouri Democratic Party, where he grew up and received his education. Bond was the Executive Director of the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund from 1997-2003, where he grew the visibility and size of the organization that trains and campaigns for out LGBT candidates for public office.
