Baskir, Cecily E. is an appellate litigator with her own law firm and holds a bachelor of arts degree, magna cum laude, from Princeton University, a Juris Doctor degree from the Yale Law School, and an LL.M. degree from Georgetown University Law Center. She has served as Law Clerk to Judge Rosemary Barkett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and also practiced law with the transnational firm of Holland & Knight. As a former member of the STL permanent faculty, she founded the Center for Cross-Border Advocacy, STL’s first clinical legal education program, and is a scholar of clinical law and cross-cultural competence.
