Sold his Chevy Chase Bank, which he set up in a trailer in 1969, to Capital One for $476 million in 2009; kept Chevy Chase Trust, which services high net worth individuals and has $2.4 billion in assets under management. The long-time Washington, D.C. businessman also owns real estate investment trusts; his publicly traded Saul Centers operates a real estate portfolio of 8.2 million square feet in the DC and Baltimore areas. Also owns and manages 18 hotels.
