David Malm

Malm is the managing partner of Webster Equity Partners, which invests in the healthcare sector. He has spent more than $100 million on homes in Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket - including the $24 million purchase of the former home of Diane Sawyer and Mike Nichols. David Malm is the Managing Partner of Webster Equity Partners and leads Webster’s healthcare investment practice. David Joined Webster Equity Partners in 2007 concurrent with the launch of Webster Fund II ($200M). Prior to joining Webster Equity Partners, David spent 15 years at Halpern Denny & Company (led by the co-founder of Bain & Company) where he led healthcare investments in cardiac diagnostic imaging, radiation oncology, hospice, physical therapy, and sleep therapy. He also led investments in the consumer and media sectors including such companies as Barneys New York, Nextwave Telecom, Picturetel, Hollywood Digital and Todd-AO. David began his private equity career in 1987 at Bain Capital. Prior to Bain Capital, David worked in strategy consulting at Bain & Company and also worked in the M&A investment banking practice at Morgan Stanley & Company. He has a BA from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard University.
