Baker Foundation Professor, Harvard Business School, where his research and teaching is in the field of operations and technology management. Prior to being Baker Foundation Professor, he was the Bruce V. Rauner Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. Prior to 1992, he was the Ford Professor of Engineering and co-founder of the Leaders for Manufacturing Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
