For over 30 years Mr. Wood has practiced as a trial lawyer protecting clients in complex cases. He has participated in serious injury cases, complex product liability litigation as well as major felony trials across the country. Mr. Wood has also handled a number of international matters, representing foreign countries and companies before United States courts, and negotiating prisoner exchanges between countries. He represents people accused of crimes in federal and state courts, including charges ranging from conspiracy, drug possession or distribution to DWI or DUI offenses. Before founding his law firm, he worked as the Springfield City Prosecutor and served at judicial request as the Special Prosecutor for the 39th Judicial Circuit. Over the years, Mr. Wood has lectured on issues ranging from criminal practice, search and seizure, 4th amendment rights, probable cause, DWI or DUI offenses, and ethics.
