ROBERT S. OSBORNE EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL COUNSEL As an executive vice president and general counsel of Booz Allen Hamilton, Bob Osborne is the firm's Chief Legal Officer and leads a team of attorneys and other professionals supporting all aspects of the firm’s legal needs, including commercial and government contracts, employment law, finance and securities, and corporate governance. Before joining Booz Allen in April 2010, Mr. Osborne was a senior partner of Jenner & Block, a national law firm to which he had returned in 2009 after serving for three years as group vice president and general counsel of General Motors Corporation. At GM, he was a member of the senior management committee and led the legal teams for strategic projects that included the company’s government financing and its rapid emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Osborne initially joined Jenner & Block in 2002 as chair of its corporate department. Prior to that, he had been a senior partner of Kirkland & Ellis, where he had practiced law since 1979. Mr. Osborne has also served as outside general counsel of Lands’ End, Inc., and taught advanced corporate law courses on the adjunct faculty of the University of Chicago School of Law. Mr. Osborne received his AB and JD degrees from Harvard University.
