Sieg, who began his brokerage career in 1982 as a Merrill Lynch advisor, declined to expand on his role or reasons for joining FallLine Securities. When he left Merrill in April 2017 shortly after his brother Andy became head of the firm’s retail brokerage unit, Sieg ran its “ultra-high-net-worth client” business. He moved into management in 1997 as a sales manager in Little Rock, Arkansas and subsequently assumed wide-ranging roles that included head of training, of practice management consulting and of Merrill’s international private client teams.
