Ronnie Bledsoe, a partner in the Plantation Oaks 55-and-over development near the Ormond Scenic Loop, has died. His death was announced Wednesday morning on Facebook by members of his family. He died on Tuesday, a month shy of his 71st birthday. Bledsoe also was a partner in developing several other communities in Volusia County, including Water’s Edge in Port Orange. He and his wife, Lore Bledsoe, are owners of the MBA Business Center on U.S. 1 in Ormond Beach. Parker Mynchenberg, an Ormond Beach developer who was a partner with Bledsoe in developing the 1,577-home Plantation Oaks community in Flagler County, confirmed on Wednesday morning that the project will continue.
