Before founding Woods Law Offices in 2018, Corrie served as a judicial staff attorney to Justice Debra Todd of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and to Justice Arthur M. Recht of the First Judicial Circuit of West Virginia. Corrie has earlier experience working alongside public defenders, as well as state consumer protection and civil rights prosecutors. Corrie graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he served as a Research Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review, and where he received awards for excellence in the study of Constitutional Law and Criminal Defense. Corrie also graduated summa cum laude with valedictory honors from West Liberty State College (now West Liberty University) in his hometown of Wheeling, West Virginia.
