Renee Unterman (Republican Party) was a member of the Georgia State Senate, representing District 45. She assumed office in 2003. She left office on January 10, 2021. Unterman (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Georgia's 7th Congressional District. She lost in the Republican primary on June 9, 2020. Unterman served as mayor of the City of Loganville from 1986 to 1990 and from 1996 to 1998, commissioner for Gwinnett County from 1990 to 1994, and in the Georgia House of Representatives from 1998 to 2002.
