Peter T. Sadowski is Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF), number 264 on the Fortune 500, and a leading provider of title insurance, specialty insurance and claims management services. Peter was born in Warsaw, Poland, and came to the United States at the age of 14. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Louis University in 1976 and his Law degree in 1978 from St. Louis University School of Law. During the first two years after law school, Peter served as Assistant Attorney General of Missouri under John Ashcroft, who was then Missouri Attorney General and who became the U.S. Attorney General under President George W. Bush. In 1980 he joined the Stolar Partnership, a law firm in St. Louis, where he became a partner in 1984. In 1996 Peter formed his own firm, named Goldberg, Katz, Sadowski and Stansen. Peter joined Fidelity National Financial in January 1999 and works from its headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida.
