Eva Stern is a clinical social worker and philanthropist, focused on supporting Southern California youth through the combination of education and the arts. Eva serves as a board member of the Alliance for College-Ready Public Schools since 2006. Eva also serves on the President’s Council at California State University Los Angeles (CSULA), on the Blue Ribbon Board of Directors at the Music Center of Los Angeles, and is an Advisory Board member (and past Chair) of InsideOUT Writers, a creative writing program for incarcerated youth. In 2006, together with her husband Marc, Eva helped establish the Marc and Eva Stern Math and Science School (Stern MASS), an Alliance public charter high school on the grounds of California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA). Eva is a graduate of Hunter College (B.A, Education) and the University of Southern California (M.A, Social Work) and lives with her husband in Malibu, California..
