Widow of logistics tycoon Johnnie Hunt (d. 2006). Couple met in high school, cofounded J.B. Hunt Transport Services 1969. Today company is one of the largest transportation logistics outfits in the nation, serving U.S., Canada and Mexico with more than 10,000 trucks and tractors. Sales now $3.5 billion. Shares up 50% since January. Revenue continues to grow despite high oil prices; 65% of profit comes from intermodal business (using two or more modes of transportation). Retired earlier this year. Philanthropist also owns commercial real estate in Rogers, Ark.
